We are delighted to announce the start of the Final Stretch, and the highest scoring team in each region to compete to be Big Energy Race champions. These top teams are:

Northern Scotland: Greening Kyle

Southern Scotland: Transition Edinburgh Pentlands

North western England: Cosy Lancashire

Yorkshire: Clifton Methodist

Southern Wales: Ymlaen Ceredigion

West Midlands: H.Energy Hat Throwers

East Midlands: Belper Goes Green (Transition Belper)

Eastern England: 2nd Bromham Guides

London: The SHC

South Eastern England: Suswheat (Sustainable Wheatley)

Southern England: Drara EAG

South Western England: Plymouth Energy Community (PEC)

Congratulations to these teams who now go head-to-head for the final. A special mention to Cool Wirral, Kingswood Sparks and Dundee Sun City, who performed extremely well, but didn't manage to get the top spot in their regions.

Don't worry too much about not making it into the Top, you can still make a big difference. We'll continue to award Team of the Week and Team Member of the Week prizes during March. Any team not in the top team list is eligible, so any challenges you take, or friends who you invite to take part will still make a difference.

We have added a whole new set of challenges on the Big Energy Race website, so please check back in and see what more you can do to save energy, and help others to do the same.
