Where are you on the final curve?

We’re just a few days away from the Closing Stretch!

On Saturday the 28th of February, at midnight, the first part of the Big Energy Race will finish. At that point we'll award bonus points to the top team in each region and the closing stretch will begin.

In March these top teams will compete to be Big Energy Race Champions. With a title like that up for grabs, those teams will no longer be eligible for the Team of the Week award.

The remaining teams will continue to be eligible for Team of the Week prizes, even if they've previously won it. So there's every reason to keep your eyes on the finish line! Keep on adding new members, undertaking new challenges and talking about your Big Energy Race progress.

Any points you earn before the end of February will make a real difference to your team - so stay motivated!

Have you done all you can to be one of the Top teams?

Next steps

What sort of things can you do to stay ahead of the pack?

During March, the Big Energy Race team is giving you the chance to boost your points, and edge ahead of the competition. Simply recommend other groups to take part ... there's something in it for both them and you!

The group(s) you sign up only have to complete a few challenges, and they will receive an energy saving gift worth £100 for taking part.

If your team is in the running to be Big Energy Race Champions you'll receive 5,000 points for every team that you sign up, once they've gained enough points. All other teams will receive an energy saving gift worth £100 for each team they recruit.

The Big Energy Race is all about community and getting others involved; this is a perfect opportunity to continue with your exemplary behaviour of reaching out to other people!

It’s a great opportunity to get new teams on board for them to see what the Big Energy Race is like, and get excited about taking part in Big Energy Race 2016!

Now you have even more reasons to help your community get energy-fit!
