Friday 27th February is Fuel Poverty Awareness Day, a nationally recognised day to promote the issue of fuel poverty and the importance of ensuring vulnerable people are warm in their home.

To mark the day, National Energy Action is running the Nation’s Biggest Housewarming.  People are being invited to organise and host a ‘housewarming’ event, selling baked goods and great food to your guests with the proceeds being donated to the NEA.  This will enable them to deliver fuel poverty projects and campaigns to ensure that all households are able to live in homes that are warmer, healthier and affordable to heat.

Communities engaging to combat fuel poverty is right up our street.
To take part and receive your promotional posters and Housewarming mugs or just find out more, visit the NEA website.
